Allison Marino, President and Treasurer of the Board
Allison Marino (she/her), is a macro social worker enthusiastically promoting social justice and dismantling barriers to equity with communities across NYC. Her professional experience includes nonprofit management and development in addition to policy advising, advocacy and community organizing. Allison is also an active volunteer and advocate in the food justice space, supporting her local community fridge network and serving as a board member for Equity Advocates, an organization helping build the capacity of nonprofits to address the underlying causes of food inequity through policy and systems change.

Frankie Dascola, Member of the Board
Frankie Dascola (any/all) is the Music Director, Co-Advisory for the Ram's Rainbow Alliance and the Social Emotional Learning Lead at I .S. 93 in Ridgewood, Queens. During the week Frankie spends time as a NYC DOE Teacher, pushing students to express themselves through music and the arts. Frankie also works as the Head of Operations for the Big Apple Leadership Arts Acadamy where she works to enrich marginalized communities and uplift students through music and community service. On weekends Frankie can be found supporting various arts and cultural endeavors or biking all over Brooklyn.

Ivana Black, Member of the Board
Ivana Black, is a transgender actress, model, artist, and drag entertainer living in Harlem. She is a community advocate and world performer who has participated in national campaigns for Citi Bank, alongside playing the role of Amanda, in the film "The Garden Left Behind” (Michael Madson, Ed Asner), touring the world with this film, and winning the audience award at SXSW. She also played a teacher/nymph in “P Pan and Beyond Land” at Philly Fringe Fest and starred as herself in “Underground” on ABC news. She has won many local, national and international pageants, with lots more to come. Ivana Black is a graduate of The University of Florida.

Emily Gaines, Member of the Board
Emily Gaines (She/They) is the lead environmental educator for New York State Parks in NYC, where she connects folks of all ages to the natural world and highlight’s the city’s unique ecosystems. Her background in theater shines in her work as she writes and performs nature-themed puppet shows. Emily is also an active member of the New York State Outdoor Educators Association.
